For families with kids ages 5 and up

Join us for short, interactive family tours of kid-friendly works on view! Learn about art together through lively discussion and fun gallery activities. We will look at artworks in the 2019 Biennial and in the Whitney’s collection.

Collect tour tickets on a first-come, first-served basis from the desk just outside the Hearst Artspace on Floor 3. Please arrive at least five minutes before the tour starts.

*On August 10, join 2019 Biennial artist Marcus Fischer for an Open Studio to make artworks inspired by the vibrations of the sound wave!

*On August 24, join 2019 Biennial artist Ilana Harris-Babou for an Open Studio to get creative with clay.

The Hearst Artspace and the Seminar Room are equipped with induction hearing loops and infrared assistive listening systems. Accessible seating is also available.

FM assistive listening devices with headsets or neck loops are available for public and private gallery tours and public programs. You may request receivers for tours at the Mobile Guide counter at the admissions desk on Floor 1.
